These two charming ladies dream about a better place(a shelter) for their huge feline family( and some other canine member too). During years they rescued cats and kitties from the sailor neighbourhood of Barceloneta to take care and give them so much love that the oldest one is incredibly 27 years old and so cute!
If you ever walk along el Born in Barcelona, you could meet them around Santa Maria del Mar Basilica.
"Because we love cats and all animals, we are here. We are Antonia and Paquita. From 30 years ago, we collect sick cats from the street to protect them, give them all our love and look after them with veterinary assistance. We are poor persons but our biggest dream is to open a shelter(bigger than our home) where we could continue taking care of the cats. If there is any person that can help us, we will be eternally grateful"
